Kim Vaughn Retiring From San Diego, Pacific Coast Harmony Choruses

As of November 1, 2015 I will be retiring as Musical Director of the San Diego Chorus and Pacific Coast Harmony (BHS). Dale and I have decided to travel while I coach and teach. We will start with an extended stay in Australia in January 2016. Any choruses or Regions interested in an extended stay coach, voice teacher or even interim Director can email me directly at kimvaughn3@gmail.com. 

Vaughn has led San Diego Chorus since 1985 and has perennially placed in the top-ten at international, including a championship in 2001. The chorus scored 708 at the Region 21 contest this spring earning them a wild card spot in Las Vegas next fall where they will be contestant #30.

As a quartet singer, Vaughn won her first title in 1976 with High Society, again in 1988 with Savvy and most recently in 2001 with a cappella Gold.

She is one of only eight women to have both won a crown and direct a champion chorus.
