Three-time Queen of Harmony and Champion chorus director Kim Vaughn will retire after next year’s Sweet Adelines international contest.

As of November 1, 2015 I will be retiring as Musical Director of the San Diego Chorus and Pacific Coast Harmony (BHS). Dale and I have decided to travel while I coach and teach. We will start with an extended stay in Australia in January 2016. Any choruses or Regions interested in an extended stay coach, voice teacher or even interim Director can email me directly at email@example.com.
Vaughn has led San Diego Chorus since 1985 and has perennially placed in the top-ten at international, including a championship in 2001. The chorus scored 708 at the Region 21 contest this spring earning them a wild card spot in Las Vegas next fall where they will be contestant #30.
She is one of only eight women to have both won a crown and direct a champion chorus.
