Easy Street Quartet Retires

Three-time Region 26 champion Easy Street quartet has retired.

From Facebook:

“Getting together in 2011, Easy Street has had a whirlwind time together gathering 3 gold medals and 3 International appearances.

Its been a journey of ferry rides, sleepovers, weekend long rehearsals, snatched visits to sing for each others choruses, laughs, more beverages than is probably good for you, and good friendships. We have gathered many great memories, but sadly all good things must come to an end and now it is time for us to bid you ‘adieu’.

We want to thank our wonderful choruses Westcoast Harmony and City of Gardens for all the love and support they have lavished on us over these past few years. Thank you to all of the coaches for the invaluable tools they’ve given us and to our very own Region 26 ….you all have always been there cheering us on, making us feel very special and we thank you for that. It has been one great adventure we will always remember.

In harmony always.

Easy Street won their region in 2011, 2013, and 2014 and placed in the 21-29 range at international each of those years.

Members were Julie Smith (Tenor), Danna Woody (Lead), Laurie Attard (Baritone), Shayna Steeves (Bass).
